A total of 14 hours of continuing education credit is required for each yearly renewal period. Effective 2003, the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) and the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board (GREAB) require that appraisers complete a 7-hour national USPAP course, or its equivalent, every two years.

Learn how to extract value adjustments from the market, support the adjustments using the depreciated cost method and write a suitable explanation for each adjustment. This course consists of a class participatory case study led by the instructor and case study solved by the individual student.

This course provides residential real estate appraisers with knowledge and understanding of the FHA procedural requirements and resources, as well as recent changes to the appraisal development and reporting of a 1-unit property. Students are expected to be familiar with development and reporting of a 1-unit property appraisal in accordance with FNMA guidelines.

This course provides the student with the opportunity to research and analyze real data from local MLS services as required by Fannie Mae. Through case studies of current data and instructor-led discussion the student will learn appropriate research and analysis techniques, and proper reporting protocol using the Fannie Mae Market Conditions Report FNMA 1004MC.
