Licensing Requirements in Georgia

Applicants for the Georgia Salesperson Examination must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a high school graduate or the holder of a certificate of equivalency.
• Complete a Commission-approved Salesperson Prelicense Course of at least 75 hours, including a proctored exam, at an approved school such as Georgia MLS Training Institute.
• Pass a state examination approved by the Commission.

Georgia Educational Requirements

• 75 Hours of Prelicense Education
• 25 Hours of First-Year Postlicense Education
• 24 Hours of Real Estate Continuing Education for Each Four-Year Renewal Period
